This laptop is my current gaming machine. It shipped with Windows 10 but I have since ran Mint, Debian, Arch, and antiX on it. Terran now currently runs SteamOS via modified recovery image. This machine was, for a long time, my only piece of hardware, as well as the first machine I have bought with my own money. I was thinking about retiring it to host this website, but due to the manufactured scarcity of RAM (Nov2025 to ???) it still remains to be my gaming and multimedia machine.

Terran is interacted with using a reproduction IBM Model F keyboard, a Logitech M100, and a 50" Samsung 4K LCD flatscreen. For the longest time I was using a 2K IPS Acer 24" monitor with a high refresh rate, a Logitech K120, and a mouse which was only marked with the "Counter-Terrorist" emblem from the hit VALVe game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I do not consider my current peripherals an upgrade in the slightest.

Current plan for this machine is to just use it as is. I can not forsee myself buying anything newer until the current calamity subsides. Hopefully I can score a MinisForum MS-S1 Max sometime in the future because as of this post it is the only miniPC with a Strix Halo in it whose Total Power Draw(TDP) from the wall does not exceed 160W at any given moment. Some cheaper, more "gamer" models I've found have a TDP of 200-300W, whichis not all that great since rent doesn't cover utilities.
